Angelina Altamirano is a Sophomore at East Islip High School and one of the many contributors to the school’s newspaper, The Broadcaster. In middle school, she was also a part of the newspaper club and contributed K-pop album reviews and sometimes articles about topics she is interested in such as K-pop music and shows she likes. Now, she solely focuses on school events, pop culture, music and K-pop, her magnum opus. She is in five clubs at the high school including Student Government (Class of 2027), and was cast in multiple school theater productions. She likes drawing, listening to music and rewatching lip sync performances from RuPaul’s Drag Race. She hopes to one day become an animator or a voice actress. Hope you enjoy her articles!
