“Black Panther Wakanda Forever” Is Now Streaming on Disney+
On Veterans Day 2022, the new Marvel movie, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was released in movie theaters. At first, I didn’t have a generally good hopes for the movie, since Chadwick Boseman, the original Black Panther, had died previously two years ago due to colon cancer; however, I was wrong. This movie received positive reviews and both me and my family loved it. The trailer looked so good that me and my family saw it on opening day and saw it later again in the movie theater with my aunt. This was my father’s birthday present which had happened two days later. Here is a quick summary of the movie:
So the movie opens up with a tribute to Chadwick Boseman. It was really nice and it was sad (So sad in fact that my mom literally started crying in the movie theater in front of many people). They say that the Black Panther has died from a sickness. Shuri (Letitia Wright), T’Challa’s younger sister, believes that a plant the Wakandans harvest known as heart shaped herb or vibranium could have saved him. Unfortunately, all the plants were destroyed in the first movie. Now, dealing with the death of their king, Shuri has a hard time dealing with this loss. However, this time is cut short when an underwater kingdom called Talokan, which made up of water-breathing humanoid beings led by Prince Namor (Tenoch Huerta Mejia), a man with winged feet and can breathe both air and water. He comes into Wakanda and threatens to go to war with them unless they \ give him vibranium to take over the world.
That was a very quick summary of the movie. I tried not to give to much, so you at least you know the plot. Now here’s where I give it a review. My personal rating for the movie was a 9/10. This is what the professional ratings say:
IMDb: 6.8/10
Rotten Tomatoes: 84/100
IGN: 7/10
So as you can see it was a pretty good movie. And if you have Disney+ you’ll have something do on the weekend. Wakanda Forever! If need another look at the movie here is a trailer:
