Izzik Mercado, a staff member for The Broadcaster, is a current 9th grader at East Islip High School. He is involved in a small volleyball team outside of school. Izzik enjoys fostering kittens and drawing in his free time as well as making meaningful gifts for people he is close to. He enjoys reading sometimes and engaging with his twelve pets.
