On November 4, 2024 the “Senior Superlatives” for the Class of 2025 were announced during the annual Senior Banquet at the Irish Coffee Pub. 

Senior Superlatives are different categories that describe personalities, traits, and qualities seniors have. Some examples are “Social Butterfly,” “Best Dressed,” and “Best Smile.” Seniors are elected by their own classmates.

This is something that is weeks in the making. A few weeks prior to the banquet, the categories were posted on the Class of 2025 Google Classroom. All seniors went on and voted for who they thought fit best in the forty categories provided. 

“It was very fun to vote for my classmates.” said Eelanna Smith, “and enjoyable to see people  asking to be nominated.”

In the banquet the categories were said one by one and the seniors who won were then called up for each. Some seniors were chosen more than once or were chosen as part of a group. 

Senior Alyssa Charles was voted as “Most Athletic. “I was so surprised to hear my name being called for Most Athletic,” she said. “Because I didn’t even ask our class to nominate me.”

The feelings of electing and being elected for the superlatives is like no other. The full list and photos of the winners will be included in the 2025 Yearbook at the end of the year.
